On arrival you see the bright throw over’s and colours that stand out and make you realise you are in a “penthouse apartment”, very different from home. Staying a weekend I packed light, although with all the cupboard space I should have packed for a month. I arrived at the perfect time as it was sunset, was amazing how the couloirs of the city change over an hour of time. It rained Friday but that didn’t stop me from enjoying what was available, the apartment is well situation, walking distance to groceries and clothing shops. It was getting time to make supper, with all the appliances to my use I felt like Jamie Oliver. The next morning the sun made its way through the clouds. I made my way to the waterfront, a lot of changes been made and I liked the sight of that, I played a game of putt putt and walked around the craft market, although wanted to go to the aquarium but the line was too long, you can see spring is on its way, had lunch made my way back to the apartment, were then I noticed they were shooting a movie, felt like a superstar although I wasn’t part of it, still a great and different experience. At late afternoon was relaxing on the double balcony and just enjoying the sunlight that was on offer before the rain came to visit. I once again waited for sunset as I enjoyed it so much last yesterday had to enjoy it again. It was getting dark and decided to make a great supper and enjoyed the night with friends and laughter, and they couldn’t believe the quality of the apartment. The next morning I took a walk in the city streets to uncover the hidden gems in The Mother City, I didn’t expect the road to be that long and wide but I conquered them with no doubt. Places I enjoyed was the different cafes offer their own takes on the Cape Town Life There was only one bad experience this entire weekend, packing my stuff and leaving as I had a great weekend
