Arcadia Close is set high on the slopes of Lions Head in a quiet cul de sac, Number 3 Arcadia Close, Bantry Bay, enjoys panoramic views over Robben Island and Table Bay.  The house is simply, yet stylishly, furnished in tones of whites and creams to enhance the beauty of the spectacular sea views.

Bedrooms : Upstairs, the Main-en-suite has the advantage of a King Size extra length bed and views of the city and ocean all the way to Blouberg.  Mornings are glorious in this special place with dawn rising softly over Table Bay harbor whilst sunny afternoons can be lazily whiled away on the chaise lounge.  The second bedroom upstairs (also en-suite) has a double canopy bed with doors opening onto a cobblestoned courtyard complete with a small potted herb garden.  Downstairs the two bedrooms – one with a double bed, one with a bunk bed – overlook the glorious expanse of ocean and Robben Island. These bedrooms share two bathrooms – one with a bath, the other a shower.

Kitchens: The main kitchen upstairs has a double fridge with ice maker, wine fridge, microwave and a gas hob/electric oven combination and, once again, gorgeous views to make cooking and entertaining a breeze.  Sliding doors open up to a deck where breakfasts can be shared.  Downstairs also enjoys a kitchen with a large fridge and oven, which is perfect for entertaining outside at the poolside.

Living Areas:

Upstairs the kitchen, dining room with 10 seater table and sitting room open up to the veranda where large groups are easily accommodated for holiday entertaining.  The views are truly spectacular.  Set in wind-free Bantry Bay, the house is big enough for large scale entertaining, but small enough for a family.  The upstairs veranda is perfect for sundowners as well as stylish umbrella covered lunches/dinners whilst a small corner sofa is perfect for that lazy afternoon nap.

Downstairs the open plan living room (also with marvelous views) leads from the kitchen to a large outside deck furnished comfortably with sofas and onto the pool and small well-maintained garden.  (The pool is raised off the ground making it slightly less dangerous for adventurous children.)

Both the upstairs and downstairs living rooms have flat-screen television sets, DSTV’s full bouquet of programmes, Apple docking stations, DVD players are wired for surround sound.
