Mountain Manor is a single story house with stylish interior, fabulous views and a beautiful garden overlooking the slopes of Chapmans Peak - it was built eight years ago to make the most of Cape living! Designed in an industrial style with light soft touches for relaxed uncomplicated living, Mountain Manor offers you to come relax and unwind! There are big comfortable sofas and two stylish dining room tables ( one inside and one outside) and all three en-suite bedrooms are small but perfectly formed – with an especially stunning main en-suite bathroom. There is underfloor heating in the kitchen area and bathrooms, which also have heated towel rails for winter warmth, and there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms for summer to stay cool, and as an added extra = there are binoculars, picnic equipment, games and books for our guests to make use of during their stay! The one large living space and flow to the terraces and swimming pool lend themselves to simple but stylish living, as perfect for entertaining - The room naturally separates into a sofa area with TV, dining area with glass topped white oak base table. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and electric oven and a breakfast area on a large granite island. Just off the main room is the scullery and a back door leading to a drying yard and small back garden stocked with herbs, scented plants and lemon trees. Steps lead from the terrace onto the lawn and garden, which is stocked with fynbos plants and divided by borders and grassy paths into sunny and shady areas. The main step from the front door and terrace lead to the paved driveway, two garages with electric up and over doors and a courtyard, secured from the road by an electric gate and electric fencing. Security is provided by ADT and an established emergency service for Hout Bay residents. The long-serving housekeeper and gardener also provide trusted and excellent service to all our guests.
