A gem of a property in the Cape Winelands close to the many wonderful restaurants and wineries of Franschhoek and surrounds. The 4 bedroom house in Franschhoek has been beautifully renovated and redecorated to a very high standard. Exquisite fabrics mixed with the natural hues of the solid wooden floors make the house both vibrant and inviting. You will immediately settle in and make the most of lazy holiday days at this relaxing home.

The Space

The ground floor has a beautiful open plan kitchen, with breakfast bar and range cooker. There is also a convenient scullery to keep the decks clear in the main kitchen. There is a large dining table to seat 8 comfortably, and two further outdoor dining tables. The living room has lovely large sofa’s, a wood fireplace for cosy evenings and opens out onto the verandah. There is a second lounge area tucked around the corner, decorated in tropical wallpaper with a large L Shaped sofa and TV for absolute relaxation. The ground floor also has the second master double suite, with en-suite bathroom. Next to this is a convenient study for those needing to work from home, as well as a guest loo.

Upstairs are three further bedrooms and a spacious Pyjama lounge with TV (Netflix and Apple TV). The master suite has wonderful views over the garden, a dressing room and large en-suite bathroom (bath and shower). The second double is along the corridor, also en-suite and has garden and mountain views. The third bedroom on this floor is the childrens bedroom with twin beds, which both have the possibility of an extra pull out bed, to make space for 4 children if needed. The children’s bedroom is en-suite, and has mountain and vineyard views. Please note the fourth bedroom cannot accommodate adults.

Outside, the garden has a lovely lawn and mature trees. The heated swimming pool has an electric child safe pool cover and there is also a trampoline, jungle gym for children, ping pong table and Boules! Lounge seating, a built in BBQ, sun loungers and various seating areas make for a wonderful outdoor holiday in the South African sunshine. The traditional Cape Dutch home is located in a security estate, and includes a communal tennis court. The estate is extremely beautiful with manicured gardens and beautiful mountain views all around. Just 15 minutes to the centre of Franschhoek and 5 minutes to Boschendal wine estate which has a Friday night food market, deli, excellent restaurant, mountain biking trails and delicious wine. The house comes with high speed wi-fi, toiletries and is serviced daily (Monday-Friday). Guests are also invited to make the most of the vegetable garden.

Neighborhood

Franschhoek is a beautiful small town in the heart of the Cape Winelands with boutique shops and many many lovely wineries to go to. The area is surrounded by incredible mountain scenery and some of the best restaurants in the Cape are located here.

This is, unfortunately, something that is out of our hands and governed by the South African Electricity providers. Accordingly, neither Turnkey365 nor the owner shall be liable for any refunds, compensation or discounts as a result of services being unavailable due to load shedding. Noise Control: This Apartment is situated in a quiet residential area and we need to adhere to strict noise control measures implemented by the body corporate and city council for this area. We therefore need you to understand and accept the following conditions: 1. No parties of any kind are to be held at the apartment. 2. No noise or music of any nature (heard by neighbors) is allowed between 9pm and 7am during the week and between 10pm and 7am on week-ends. 3. No hooting or shouting in the street at any time (day and night). 4. Should you have a guest or two visiting please make them aware that parking is very limited and not to park in front of another person garage or drive way. Travel Insurance: It is imperative that you have procured adequate and fully comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover and cover for theft of personal items. Groups: No groups of all solo travellers unless by request. No bachelor / bachelorette party groups permitted. Children: Although we accept children at this property, there may still be child safety issues and concerns for guests with younger children, such as balconies, split level terraces and unfenced pools. Guests staying with children do so at their own risk and are urged to take all due care and attention during their stay. Monthly stays: Please note on monthly discounts, electricity will be for your own account. • No daily housekeeping will be included within the rate but can be paid for additionally when available and permitted. • Standard amenities eg WiFI, and DSTV if applicable, will be included. • Reasonable water useage is included, this will be monitored according to current city limits. • Garden and pool service will be included when permitted.
