Set above Clifton 1st beach this three bedroomed home offers a cool and calm retreat from the hustle and bustle below. The area so popular for its beautiful beaches and wind still conditions. Our location is a short walk away from it all, and the variety of restaurants and cafés nearby are plentiful. The CBD and Waterfront a short drive away.

A contemporary duplex with open indoor and outdoor living spaces making the most of the sweeping ocean views. The terrace invites to spend time by the salt water pool and jacuzzi, and to take in the sunsets. Enjoy the gas braai and fire pit (wood provided). Tandem garage parking at street level is a big plus since street parking in the area is scarce. The apartment is accessible by furnicular or steps.

The living room gives way to a comfortable space to lean in with a good book, watch a movie or play a board game (there is a very large selection of board games). The apartment comes with Netflix, DSTV Premium & Showmax. A Bang and Olufsen sound system takes your music listening to another level. Speedy fibre internet (100MBps) is accessible throughout.

The well equipped kitchen offers a barista style coffee machine with fresh beans provided.

A staircase leads up to three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. A calming atmosphere of neutral colours, and the sound of the waves.

Bedrooms :

The main bedroom is the most spacious, with a king sized bed, and offers a marble bath and shower. A shared balcony connects the second bedroom to the same ocean views. Here you will find a queen sized bed, and an en suite bathroom with a bath.

The third bedroom (also with queen bed) is set at the back of the house with its bathroom opposite with a shower.

The entrance leads to a small garden space against the mountain. A cool area to sit and take refuge on one of the hotter summer days.

A small separate flatlet is home to Leonard, our man of many talents. He is there to take care of any wishes or needs you may have. His level of involvement in your stay is entirely up to you. He is there to make your stay feel as relaxing as possible. He keeps the pool sparkling, takes care of the garden, offers cleaning, and will be able to help with tips around the area. He will also meet and greet you at the property when you first arrive and show you how everything works. He can be in the shadows and available when you need him or he can pour your wine during dinner.

Young children need to be supervised since the pool has no cover.

The place is also not suitable for frail people since it may be necessary to walk up or down steps when the furnicular is out of service.

This property requires a R3000 security deposit.

This means that electricity goes off for periods of 2.5 hours or more at a time. We often do not know in advance when this will happen. Most of our owners, however, have taken a number of measures to ensure your greatest comfort during your stay. However, there is an app you can download in order to ensure you know what times it will take place and plan your day accordingly. This is, unfortunately, something that is out of our hands and governed by the South African Electricity providers. Accordingly, neither the Property Manager nor the owner shall be liable for any refunds, compensation, or discounts as a result of services being unavailable due to load shedding. Noise Control: This property is situated in a quiet residential area and we need to adhere to strict noise control measures implemented by the body corporate and/or city council for this area. We therefore, by continuing with this booking, you agree that you understand and accept the following conditions: 1. No parties of any kind are to be held at the property. 2. No noise or music of any nature (heard by neighbours) is allowed between 9pm and 7am during the week and between 10pm and 7am on week-ends. 3. No hooting or shouting in the street at any time (day and night). 4. Should you have a guest or two visiting, please make them aware that parking is very limited and not to park in front of another person's garage or drive way. Travel Insurance: It is imperative that you have procured adequate and fully comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover and cover for theft of personal items. Groups: No groups of all solo travellers unless by request. No bachelor / bachelorette party groups are permitted. Children: Although we accept children at this property, there may still be child safety issues and concerns for guests with younger children, such as balconies, split-level terraces, and unfenced pools. Guests staying with children do so at their own risk and are urged to take all due care and attention during their stay. Monthly stays: Please note on monthly discounts, electricity will be for your own account. • No daily housekeeping will be included within the rate but can be paid for additionally on request and when available. The Property Manager requires housekeeping to happen at least once a week, every week of your stay. • Standard amenities eg WiFI, and DSTV if applicable, will be included. • Reasonable water usage is included; this will be monitored according to current city limits. • Garden and pool service will be included when available.
