The Cape Peninsula has a wealth of options when it comes to beaches and the perfect summer weather to go with. On the Atlantic side you have some beautiful beaches like Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno which are perfect for anything from sunbathing days to sunset strolls. On the False Bay side you can visit beaches like the popular surfing corner of Muizenberg, Fish Hoek, Simonstown and everything in-between. Dinos Alive Augmented Reality is a new exhibition that combines the magnificence of dinosaurs with cutting-edge technology so that visitors can experience what it must have been like to walk among dinosaurs. The expo has 5 interactive augmented reality and virtual reality experiences on offer, including a large interactive dino screen, virtual T-Rex experience, virtual reality tour and a dino edu-table. DinosAlive Augmented Reality exhibition will take place at Capegate Shopping Centre at the Centre court, from 6 December 2017 until 14 January 2018, from 10am to 7pm. Tickets cost R65 per person.  

Goldfish Submerged Sessions at Shimmy Beach Club

The amazing electronic duo Goldfish is back at Shimmy Beach Club for the fourth consecutive year to kick off the summer season in style. The classically trained musical pair has enjoyed much local and international success, and their edgy afro-jazz flair helps produce hit after hit so it’s no wonder locals and visitors to Cape Town return to the swanky Shimmy every year for their epic parties. Galileo Open Air Cinema

The Galileo Open Air Cinema is a magical outdoor movie experience running until 27 April at various venues around the Western Cape including Kirstenbosch Gardens, Bloemendal Wine Estate and the V & A Waterfront. You can look forward to a romantic night under the stars and a great line-up of classic movies. What’s more, beer, wine and fresh popcorn will be on sale at every event, along with an artisan fare.
